Privacy Notice
In short: the Apply for Access form and the assessment run in your browser and send nothing to us. Passing it unlocks the members-only pages right in your browser, with no account or email needed. The only information that reaches us is an email you choose to send from your own email app.
01What we collect
This site is built to collect as little as possible. Here is everything it handles:
- Apply for Access form: your name, a handle or alias, and your reason for access, plus your answers to the short safety and knowledge assessment. These answers stay in your browser and are not sent to us. The form does not ask for an email address.
- Clearance record in your browser: if you pass the assessment, your browser stores a "cleared" flag (
dpt_cleared) and the name you entered (dpt_name). Your reason for access and your assessment answers are not saved anywhere. - Support assistant: if the site's support assistant is available and you use it, your conversation with it is kept in your browser (
dpt_support_v1) so it survives a page change. Its answers are built into the page; your messages are not sent to us or to an AI service. - Questions you email us: the member portal's Ask a Question form opens your own email app with your name and question filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send in your email app. If you do, we receive your email address, your name, your message and anything else your email provider includes.
What the site does not do: the forms do not send your answers to a server. The site sets no cookies. There are no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels.
Hosting and third-party connections: the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare keeps standard server logs such as IP address, pages requested and time, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. The pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser details under Google's own privacy policy.
02Members area
- Lab-07 and the member portal open in your browser once you pass the assessment. There is no account, password or email sign-in.
- We do not collect your email address or set any login cookie to let you in.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and time of request) to run and secure the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
03How we use it
- Access review: your browser uses your answers to score the assessment and, if you pass, to unlock Lab-07 and the member portal and greet you by name. This happens on your device only.
- Answering questions: we use emails you send us only to read and reply to your question about the program or your access.
04Where it is stored
- In your browser: the clearance flag, your name and any support chat sit in your browser's session storage on your device. We cannot see them.
- With Cloudflare: standard server logs are kept by Cloudflare, which hosts the site.
- In our inbox: emails you send us are stored in the Dark Plaz Tech inbox at the address below.
05How long we keep it
- Browser data is removed when you close the tab or window, or when you choose Sign out in the member portal. Failing or retaking the assessment removes the clearance flag.
- Emails are kept only as long as we need them to answer you, and no longer than [retention period — to be confirmed].
06No selling or sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not share it with anyone for marketing. Apart from Cloudflare hosting the site, we would disclose it only if the law required us to.
07Your choices
- You can remove the browser data at any time by signing out, closing the tab, or clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
- You don't have to use the Ask a Question form. You can review or edit the email before sending, or not send it.
08Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, or to delete it, including any emails you have sent us. Where laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA (California) apply to you, you have those rights under them too, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
To make a request, email darkplaz-lab@mail.grokbot.com. We will reply and confirm once it is done.
09Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18. Please don't apply for access, enter the members areas or contact us if you are under 18. If we learn we have received information from someone under 18, we will delete it.
10Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the site changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date.
